When I was little, I loved drawing. Like most people. As I got older and settled into my teenage years, a voice telling me that I wasn't talented, that my drawings weren't good enough, that other people were way better at drawing than I was, just got louder and louder. Every once in a while, the voice would quiet down enough for me to bring out my drawing tools and make something. Most of the time though, the voice was so deafening that I didn't.
And then one year, I signed up for a painting class that changed my life. My teacher, Sandrine Gaudet, taught me how to break down those inner hurdles we all have, that get in the way of us doing the things we love to do, the ones that tell you you're not good enough, not talented enough, that you'll never get to where you aspire to be.
8 years later, I'm a professional artist and illustrator, and I love what I do. The idea of being able to teach others what I was taught all those years ago is incredibly important to me. I know first-hand the power of these techniques in aligning you with your core, unleashing your creativity, and doing things that you've always wanted to do (especially the ones that scare you!).
Nothing makes me happier than to know that the tools I've learned can be helpful to you too. I've created two classes on Skillshare where you can learn my tools, secrets, tips & tricks and share your art projects with me too (though only if you want to!). The two videos here show you what my classes are about, and the buttons bring you directly to the course - with my link you get two free months of Skillshare Premium, which you can cancel anytime before or after. I hope you join and can't wait to see what you make! :)
